What does Premium actually unlock?
Premium gives you forecasts from ECMWF HRES and Stormglass — the same models commercial weather routing services pay $5K-50K/year for. You can track unlimited trips, get SMS alerts when forecasts shift inside your trip window, see full expert meteorologist commentary, and skip the ads. It's the trader's tier.
How is this different from Surfline Premium or OpenSnow?
Those are pure forecast products. NimboX is forecasts plus the prediction-market layer that lets you take a position on whether the forecast hits. We also cover all 8 categories (surf, ski, kite, festivals, aviation, sailing, golf, beach) instead of just one. Most users keep Surfline or OpenSnow alongside NimboX, not instead of.
Do I need Premium to place positions?
No. The free tier lets you place positions through Kalshi just like Premium does. Premium is about better information — premium forecasts, alerts, expert takes — that helps you place smarter positions.
Cancel anytime?
Yes. Monthly cancels at the end of the current billing cycle. Annual cancels at the end of the year — you keep Premium until then. No long-term contracts, no cancellation fees, no email gymnastics. Cancel from your account settings.
